Fred Hancock, known to friends and family as Freddy, passed away peacefully on November 21st, 2019, at the age of 71 years surrounded by loving family and friends. Freddy is predeceased by his parents Robert and Mary Hancock; mother and father-in-law Ethel and Jack Hickey; brother Douglas Hancock (Margaret); brothers-in-law: Ian Janes, Don Hickey; and sister-inlaw Elsie Bragg. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Anne Hancock of 47 years; son Dave Hancock (Jillian); grandchildren Zoey and Maya; sisters: Helen Ryan (Jim), Marion Janes; niece Jackie Lockyer (Dave); and many more nieces, nephews and great friends all of whom he dearly loved. Last but not least his furry little buddy Coco Bongo. A big thank you to all the people who helped dad through this challenging journey, Dr. Siddiqui, Dr. Mcisaac, Dr. Dennis O’keefe and the doctors, nurses and volunteers at Palliative care, as well as the many paramedics that helped dad while home.
