Passed Away Nov. 27, 2009 Age 21 years

We often think of you as the small boy who smiled so sweetly, happiest just being around home with family and playing with friends. Other times we think of you as

-the hockey player who never missed a game and never played a bad one -the easygoing but serious student, lifeguard and swimming instructor -the avid NBA, NHL and Fighting Irish fan -the sports statistics fanatic -the poker player who was sure he could win a fortune -the lover of rap and all things Jay-z, or -the “stand up”, “got your back”, “best kind” hang out, party kind of guy.

But mostly we think of you as a regular guy - the son, brother, and loyal friend we could talk to, share a laugh with, play ball with or just watch TV with - the earnest boy / young man who was kind to children, who smiled so warmly, whose eyes lit up with laughter and who showed his love for family and friends by always being there, quietly appreciating the company, efforts and talents of others.

As for your character Patrick, we need only one word: honourable. Your spirit: gentle and true. We are so proud of you, your life and your legacy. We wish only that you were still with us and could have grown old with us. In our sadness we strive to remember that all that has been, still is. And we know that great love endures.

You will always walk by our sides. We will always hear your voice. We pray that you can hear ours, especially when we laugh, for we know that is what you wish for us.

May the Lord Bless and Keep You, May His Light Shine Upon You, May He Grant You Eternal Peace, And Until We Meet Again To Part No More, May He Hold You in the Palm of His Hand.

Ever Remembered, Ever Loved Mom, Dad, Claire and Bridget.
