Where is Trudeau leading us?

-

This morning I’m torn at what to write about — the dropping of the ball by the RCMP in their handling of the recent mass murdersin Nova Scotia by the RCMP or where our prime minister is taking this country financially down the road?

I think, in both cases, leadership is highly questionable and, although all Nova Scotians are equally distraught about this tremendous loss, I firmly believe more of us will be weighing in on this tragic event over the days and months to come.

With this in mind I will focus on where I believe our Canada is going under the present direction from the PM’S office.

Every day our prime minister announces more and more money. He/we are dishing it out like there’s no end to it in a bid to pacify every single soul in Canada.

Doesn’t he realize that we will be the ultimate ones holding all this new debt, or is it part of a broader plan to make this country that more appealing to that one per cent of the American society willing to rush in to buy up all this debt, the nice folks that they are?

The problem, of course, with this scenario — or, if you choose to call it, conspiracy theory — will be the fact that we’ll have to be willing to sign off on our part of this huge debt promising everything to this colourful consortium made up Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, the Koch brothers and, of course, young Mark Zuckerberg.

Yes, our precious resources are looking that much more attractive after each and every address to the nation Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gives us daily.

I guess money does grow on trees after all.
