Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at her residence on Saturday, May 2, 2020, Alice Parsons (nee Forward) of Harbour Grace, age 79 years. Predecease­d by husband: Alexander ‘Sandy’; parents: John and Lucy Forward; sister: Jean (Ray) Fitzpatric­k. Leaving to mourn with precious memories, three daughters: Diane (Darrell) Parsons, Bay Roberts, Alexandra (Carl), Waterdown, ON, and Kim (Gene), Harbour Grace; three sons: Kenneth (Yvonne) and John (Michelle), both of Harbour Grace, and Wayne (Wanda), Brigus; eleven grandchild­ren: Christophe­r (Melanie), Cassandra (Randy), Andrew, Natasha (Wil), Danielle (Todd), Sarah, Brandon (Suzanne), Alicia (Danny), Kersten, Alex (Lacey), and Christophe­r B.; six greatgrand­children: Mackenzie, Bentley, Finley, Dominic, Megan, and Mark; one brother: James (Lilly) Forward, St. John’s; two sisters: Shirley Evely (George), Carbonear and Elizabeth Forward, Topsail Beach; special family friends: Denise Parsons, Carbonear, Gail and Dave Earle, and their children, Shenstone and Adaleigh, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Due to the current pandemic, visitation will take place at a later date, followed by a funeral service to celebrate Alice’s life at Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace.
