HOWLETT Rosemary

July 22nd, 1934 - May 11th, 2020

Rosemary Howlett (nee Heffernan) passed peacefully away on May 11th, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family at Agnes Pratt Nursing Home. Predeceased by her parents Philip and Mary; husband Edward J; son Edward M; brother Phillip; nephews Christopher Heffernan, Donnie Shaw; Danny Heffernan; Sister Johanna Howlett. Leaving to mourn her daughter Susan (Tony), grandchildren Jennifer (Travis), Robert (Jason), Olivia (Harry), Anthony (Leanne), Vanessa; great-grandchildren Wesley, Zara Rose & Ford; and daughter-in-law Georgina. Brothers Kevin (Doreen), Pat (Jean), Doug (Mary); sisters Jenny Shaw (George), Marg (Boyd), Teresa Edney (Gerry), Barb Daniels (Bill); sister– in–law Dot; and brother– in–law Ron and all her nieces and nephews. As well as her large circle of friends. Rosemary (Rosie) was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her kindness, compassion and love has impacted many people while working for over 40 years at Muir’s Marble Works with her husband and family. She cared deeply and gave endlessly to her family and those she loved. Her love for music and bringing people together is a memory everyone will cherish. Rosemary and her family spent a lot of time together playing cards, picking berries and hosting many friends and family for dinner. She spent hours baking, waltzing and singing in her kitchen with her grandchildren who will always remember watching old musicals while eating strawberries and ice cream. Her smile was contagious, and she will be forever missed. Her family would like to thank the dedicated staff and volunteers at Agnes Pratt nursing home for their compassionate and meaningful care over the past 15 years. They have been a second family for Rosemary and her family. In celebration of Rosemary’s life, her family asks you to carry out a random act of kindness. Interment at St. Kevin’s Cemetery, Goulds on Thursday, May 14, 2020. A celebration of life will follow in the coming months.
