-

Our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother Rosina Rainville (nee Coish) suddenly passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on May 15, 2020 at Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion in Carbonear, NL. Rosina was predeceased by her parents, Enoch and Beatrice Coish and her soninlaw Mark (Joe) Joseph Kilgore. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Suzette (Warren), cherished grandchild Jessie (Brandon) and precious great grandchildren Jacqueline and Joseph. Also left to mourn are her sister Blanche Berniquez and brothers; John (Loretta) and Clyde (Carmel). Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Left with fond and loving memories of Rosina are her kind and caring friends Patsy Singleton and Harold Webber, as well as Warren’s mom, Elizabeth Coffin, with whom she had a very special friendship. “Nanny Rose” as she was known to many people, also had a large extended family who mourn her loss at this time. They include David, Cyril, Brian, Boyd (Julia) Coffin and Jean Wells (Bill Fiander), and the many Coffin children she came to know and love such as Warren’s children Danielle (Robert) Liam and Mia, John (Sarah) Madison, Mckenzie and Avery, and his nieces and nephews. Rosina was a fun-loving person. She enjoyed family gatherings and loved to tell a joke or two. She sometimes dressed up in funny costumes to make us all laugh. She also loved to go trouting, however, her favorite thing was chocolate! Her brother Clyde loved her cooking. The family would like to express gratitude to the staff of 2 North at Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion for all the care and compassion they gave to Rosina during her time with them. Funeral and celebration of Rosina’s Life will be held at a later date due to the current global pandemic of COVID-19. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter. 211 – 31 Peet St., St. John’s, NL A1B 3W8 www.childrenswish.ca/locations/newfoundland-labrador Funeral Arrangements Entrusted to Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach “When someone we love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure”
