Joe Exotic lashes out at Tiger King nemesis’ ‘treachery’

- BRAD HUNTER

OKLAHOMA — It was a less than purr-fect ending for the tail of the Tiger King.

In the end, Joe Exotic’s arch-nemesis Carole Baskin was awarded his bedraggled roadside zoo in Oklahoma.

That doesn’t mean the mullet-haired jailbird is happy about the turn of events that saw Baskin take ownership of Greater Wynnewood Development Group, LLC.

And Exotic —serving a 22-year federal prison sentence for conspiracy to murder Baskin — even invoked George Floyd, the black man murdered by a Minneapolis cop that has triggered protests around the planet.

“While we again acknowledge it is truly time to pray for justice for George Floyd’s family as well as an end to systemic racism in America, we must address Carol [sic] Baskin’s treachery before it goes unchecked,” said Exotic’s Twitter account, run by his management team.

The statement added the judge’s ruling was “another emotional blow to an already fragile Joe, who has spent the past three straight months in solitary confinement.”

Baskin and Exotic were arch-rivals on the Netflix smash, Tiger King. He claimed she murdered and fed her missing husband to her tigers.

“[Joe] has been completely unable to defend himself” but the big cat impresario is “refusing to accept defeat.”

“Even as we type this message, Joe’s legal team is filing appeals and his social media/ PR team are rallying public support,” the statement continued,

But his team’s main goal is to secure his freedom with many appealing to U.S. President Donald Trump to spring the gay cowboy on compassionate grounds.

They said: “We’ve known Carole was going to prevail. We pray for the safety of the Tigers. We are focused on justice for Joe and that means a pardon that gets him out of jail and able to set the record straight.”

Baskin was awarded the zoo, the 16 acres it sits on, cabins, vehicles and more.

Current owner and also one of the stars of the smash docseries, Jeff Lowe, has to vacate the park within 120 days. He has vowed to open a new Tiger King park.

Meanwhile, detectives in Florida are digging into the disappearance of Baskin’s husband, Don Lewis, in 1997. They have said his will that left all of his money and property to Baskin, was a forgery.
