LEE Lori (nee Clarke)

Past away peacefully in the company of her family, on June 13th, Lori Lee (nee Clarke) after a two and half year battle with cancer, melanoma of the brain. Predecease­d by her parents: Fred and Sybil Clarke of Brigus Gullies, Brigus. Leaving to celebrate her life and carry her memory; her husband of twenty years, Craig and daughter Meagan, who she loved with all her heart. Also celebratin­g her life and mourning her loss; sisters: Yvonne Percy (John), Des Morrissey (Andy), Nancy Clarke, Rose Walsh (Ed), Ricka Clarke and Robyn Clarke; as well very special nieces: Wendy Norris (Levi), who was like a sister and Karla Vokey (Peter); her God Child who always had a very special place in her heart. As well and no less loved many other nieces and nephews. And a large circle of friends. Born in Brigus, but living in Yellowknif­e for the past twentythre­e years Lori lived and worked giving of herself in the care of others, be it at home or working as a LPN. She always wore a smile and brought light to those around her, even facing terminal cancer Lori was an example to others; especially to her daughter Meagan who she lived to love. That love and the example Lori set for her daughter will follow Meagan through life. Lori may be gone from this world but her light and love will remain with all those she touched during her all too brief time among us. She will live on in our memory.
