Passed away suddenly at his home in Paradise, surrounded by his loving family, Wilfred Noel Drover (Jr.), age 61 years. He enjoyed his daily walks, watching sports and his large collection of ball caps. He loved life and fought a hard fight. Wilf was a very special person, a kind and loving soul and will be missed by many. Predecease­d by his father Wilfred Drover (Sr.) (2004), and sister Tanya Drover (1993). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Rosemary Drover (Squires); sisters Pamela Drover (Bill Walsh), and Donna Power (David Power); nephews Bradley Drover (Kelly Penner), and Tyler Drover; nieces Felicia Power, Kandice Collins (Brandon Collins) and Jillian Loveless; great nephew Dominic Gear and great niece Briella Drover, both whom he loved so much; special aunt Phyllis Drover; and special friend Wade Best. Special thank you to long time family doctor Dr. David Hart, The Heart Failure Clinic, Dr. Sean Murphy, Dr. Joshua Mercer and lab assistant Lori Lynch, all of whom provided Wilf with excellent care during his illness. Also, a special thanks to Wilf’s two sisters who gave him loving care on a daily basis. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, April 30 at 2 p.m. at Holy Innocents Anglican Church, 297 Paradise Road, with interment to follow in Holy Innocents Anglican Cemetery.
