Passed peacefully away surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. Lydia is predecease­d by her first husband Gerard Crouch and second husband Ted Power. She leaves to mourn sons, Ron (Gail) and Roger (Michelle), daughters, Lynda (Vernon) and Donna; grandchild­ren, Angela (Ray), Stephen, Zander (Danielle), Daniel, Matthew, Tyler, Kevin, Gerard, Andrew and Amber; great grandchild­ren, Jacob, Anna and Jessie, brothers and sisters, Harold (Doreen), Audrey, Joyce (Jack), Sharon (Gord), Ed (Sandy) and Terry, sister-inlaw Patricia Janes and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves to mourn close friends and neighbours Mildred Skiffingto­n, Don (Darlene) and Fred (Wanda). Donations in Lydia’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, flowers gratefully accepted. Lydia is resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 1pm-9pm. Funeral service will be held at the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 11:00 am by invitation only. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Special thanks to her homecare workers Selma, Corina and Florence. The care and kindness you showed mom will never be forgotten. Special thanks to Kimberly Street for the great chats and lunch trips.
