April 8, 1940 – May 2, 2021 Passed away suddenly, surrounded by her children on May 2, 2021 at the Health Sciences Centre, Ethel Kathleen Tibbs (Lindstrom), aged 81. Predecease­d by her husband Ernest Tibbs, sons Ernest Jr and Bruce, parents Gordon and Bertha Lindstrom and brother Eric. Leaving to mourn her six children Heather (Robert Browne), Wilma (Carl Williams), David (Kerri), Bill (Kim), Larry (Jeanie), and Harvey (Krista); her 12 grandchild­ren Michael, David, Andrew, Justin, Brandon, Holly, Larry Jr., Patrick, Katie, Emily, Lauren, and Olivia; her 6 great-grandchild­ren Hannah, Katie, Owen, Corbin, Ripley and Patrick. Also leaving to mourn her brother Robert, sisters-inlaw Ruby, Viola, Clara, Laura and Betty, cousins Kay Kelly, Ed and George Hayes, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to count, especially her friends at 77 Charter Avenue. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday, May 6 from 11am-9pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Michael and All Angels Parish on Friday, May 7 at TIME with interment to follow in Kenmount Road Anglican Cemetery.
