Dear Rihanna,

Happy Sixth Birthday, my Love! Mommy loves you more than words could ever tell. Today, you would be doing many things, a lot more mature than you are supposed to be. I am writing you this letter because I know you would be reading much more advanced than a typical six-year-old. Maybe, you would be reading the Bible instead of teaching Angels and watching over me. Today, I would be raising the magic wand and six magical beings would appear, and tonight when you would go to bed from all those magical treats, sweet dreams would never end as I watch you sleep.

Six years ago, you came into my life and I embraced you with open arms and all my love, but little did I know, that God had a greater plan for you. I know it was not his wish to leave me broken hearted and with shattered dreams.

My dear Rihanna, I have done everything to keep you here with me, but God’s determination was stronger than my will power. Oh, what would I do! I would gather all the stars from the universe, remove all the clouds from a cloudy sky, and replace the stars with hearts at night, just so you would know how much you are loved, when you look above.

I would write your favorite bedtime stories upon the moon. I would sing you love songs as I always do and reverse the sun to come out on the coldest winter night instead of the moon. I would make you promises; some would be broken but many would be kept. Rihanna, today there are six candles burning inside my heart; one for every year from the moment you were growing inside of me, from your first heartbeat to the first breath you took, to the moment you were wrapped tightly in my arms. Today, I give you the six gifts of love and those I will cherish forever, with each passing year.

Be a butterfly and pert upon my rose petal. Be a bee that takes the nectar and turns it into honey. Be a rainbow that beautifies the sky and the stars that twinkle at night, the moon beams that take peeks and leaves a kiss on my cheeks.

My Dear Rihanna, my love for you will never end, a mother loves will never fade. Love always,

P.S. Sweet Dreams Mommy
