It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Gordon Fitzpatric­k of Marystown announce his sudden passing on June 4th, 2021 at the age of 58. Leaving to mourn with broken hearts and a lifetime of wonderful memories are his beloved wife Norma (West); three beautiful daughters Erin (Bryan), Kayla (Scott), and Sara; stepchildr­en Paul and Jill (Alex). Joseph was a proud and loving Poppy to his grandchild­ren, David, Colin, Cole and Aidan, as well as his grand puppies Callie, Wendel, Maddie and Charlie. Joseph also leaves behind his sisters Donna (Ken), Lynn (Lester), and Paula (Joe); sisters-in-law Doreen (Jim) and Donna (Dale). Joseph will also be sadly missed by a large circle of extended family and friends. Joseph is predecease­d by his parents Thomas and Lizeta (Dete) Fitzpatric­k of Marystown. Joseph was a prominent member of the local community, operating Bi-rite Limited for 30+ years. He will be remembered as an active advocate for his local parish and always going out of his way to help those in need. However, his greatest joy was his family, and he will be terribly missed by all. A funeral service will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 at 11am. Anyone wishing to attend the service can give the the funeral home a call to have your name added to the list and anyone wishing to attend the funeral virtually can visit the website the morning of the service and click on the link at the top of the page. Inurnment to follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations can be made in Joseph’s memory to the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund.
