The Newfoundland Rogues kicked their last regular season homestand of the season the right way over the weekend.

The Rogues (18-13) won two of three games over the Sudbury Five at the Mary Brown’s Centre in St. John’s.

The wins pushed Newfoundland’s home record to an impressive 15-4, and moved them one game ahead of Sudbury in the Basketball Super League (BSL) standings.

The Rogues now sit in fourth place in the six-team league. They’re tied with the London Lightning for the second-most wins in the league, but because the Windsor Express has a better winning percentage despite playing seven fewer games, they’re ranked in third place.

The Kitchener-waterloo Titans sit in first place at 20-9. Trailing the Rogues are the Five and the Montreal Toundra.
