THE LEO AWARDS

-

If your favourite B.C.-made film and TV show this year are Devout and Motive, you can likely witness acceptance speeches (and outfits) by the creative teams and actors as they nab some of the many Leo Awards for which they’re nominated. The movie, about a crisis of faith in rural Bible-belt B.C., captured the most nominations in the motion picture category with 14 in total, including best direction for Connor Gaston and best lead actors, both female and male for Ali Liebert and Charlie Carrick. Like last year, CTV’s crime procedural Motive is the lead contender in the television category with 17 nominations. June 4-5 | Hyatt Regency Vancouver Tickets: leoawards.com
