Guests unaware of body under bed

A couple spent a night at a hotel in a Thai resort city apparently unaware there was a corpse under the bed. The body of the slain transgender woman was only discovered when a maid noticed a foul smell and blood pooling by the mattress as she was cleaning the room after the guests had checked out. Police believe the 28-year-old victim had been dead for three or four days. An autopsy was being conducted to determine the cause of death. Two teenage boys, aged 17 and 14, have been charged with murder.
