Chefs cook up the best of the Okanagan

Prince William and Kate travel to Kelowna, where they will mark the 10-year anniversar­y of the University of British Columbia Okanagan and the 100-year anniversar­y of the University of British Columbia.

The couple will view a large piece of indigenous art commission­ed to honour the partnershi­p between UBC Okanagan and the Okanagan Nation Alliance.

William and Kate will meet UBC Okanagan students and watch a demonstrat­ion by the women’s volleyball team.

The couple will attend the Taste of British Columbia Festival at a vineyard. The festival will highlight B.C.’s agrifoods and seafood products through cooking demonstrat­ions.

The duke and duchess will arrive at Erik Nielsen Whitehorse Internatio­nal Airport in the evening.

Prince William will inspect a guard composed of members of the Canadian Rangers and Junior Rangers.
