STRENGTHENING OUR NATION THROUGH STORIES ON SCREEN

Canada’s independent media producers take immense pride in bringing our stories to life on screen. And that is why we are such huge supporters of Reel Canada and National Canadian Film Day. On April 19, 2017, Canadians will have an opportunity to laugh, cry, and be inspired by home-grown films at one of more than 800 screenings across Canada. I encourage people across the country to check out a Canadian film and reflect on how lucky we are to live in such a great country. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our nation’s 150th anniversary.
