The An­drew and Va­lerie Pringle En­vi­ron­men­tal Green Roof has be­come home to a pro­duc­tive ur­ban oa­sis: Ry­er­son Ur­ban Farm. The farm pro­duces close to 10,000 pounds of food ev­ery year for use in Ry­er­son cafes, com­mu­nity share bas­kets, Ry­er­son Mar­ket and more.

Join the Pringles for “Up on the Roof,” a fun and in­ter­ac­tive evening where you can learn about this great ur­ban agri­cul­ture project and raise money to sus­tain, main­tain and en­hance it.

The evening will in­clude a tour and dis­cus­sion with Ar­lene Throness, Ur­ban Farm Man­ager, fol­lowed by a ca­sual and de­li­cious din­ner pre­pared by Ry­er­son’s Ex­ec­u­tive Chef, us­ing pro­duce from the rooftop gar­den.
