Massage Therapist Charged With Sexual Assault

BRAMPTON: Mayor Patrick Brown has officially named the Brampton South Park located at 152 Cherrytree Driveas “Sagarmatha Park.” Sagarmatha is a Nepali word for Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world. (The Sagarmāthā National Park is a national park in eastern Nepal and part of the sacred Himalayan landscape and is a World Heritage Site.)

Addressing ithe audience, Mayor Patrick Brown said the park symbolized the support and the invaluable contributi­ons of the Nepalese community to Brampton's beautiful mosaic of cultures. REGION OF PEEL – The Special Victims Unit has charged a Peel resident for sexually assaulting a female victim.

It is alleged that on September 17, 2023, an adult female attended a scheduled massage therapy appointmen­t during which she was touched inappropri­ately. She did not sustain any physical injuries.

52-year-old Minh Khanh SOC of Brampton, has been charged with one count of sexual assault contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

Police said that SOC is also known as “Kendy Ming” and is not a registered or licensed massage its name and hoped that the Nepalese community would conduct various events in the park.

Founder President of Federation of Canada Nepal Chamber therapist with a mandate to do such work.. He has been reportedly providing massage therapy to customers out of a residence in Brampton.

Investigat­ors believe there may be additional victims and urge them to come forward.

Poudel also advised that the process of establishi­ng a sister relationsh­ip between cities of Nepal and Brampton is on the way.

Nara Bahadur Chhetri, President of the Nepalese Community Network of Canada, which initiated the project and adopted the park, thanked Mayor Patrick Brown, and City Council for ratifying the motion of naming the park. Chhetri said the project was considered as milestone for Nepalese community, and reflects the amazing collaborat­ion between City of Brampton and Nepalese community. The program was held under the aegis of Regional Councillor Navjit Kaur Brar. Regional Councillor­s Dennis Keenan and Martin Medeiroswe­re also present..

The park features a playground, a shelter, a multi-purpose pad and open green spaces.
