Lohan teases about new makeup line
Actress says she is planning collection of lipsticks, a compact and eyeshadow
Lindsay Lohan is launching a beauty line.
The actress, best known for her role in Mean Girls, made the announcement during a recent interview on The Wendy Williams Show, teasing that the line will be coming out soon.
Talking about her new life in Dubai, Lohan explained how she flies back to the U. S. and U. K. for work, and then enjoys her quiet existence in the United Arab Emirates city.
“It’s nice for me to come here, work — I have a lipstick, beauty line coming out,” Lohan revealed. “So that’s very exciting. So I can come here do my work and then go and look at everything and plan it how I want to plan it.”
A photo of the line also flashed up, with lipsticks, a compact and eyeshadow on show in sleek silver packaging.
Lohan, whose career had its share ups and downs, has turned her life around in recent years. While she still acts, the 31- yearold has mainly been focusing on other business ventures.
As well as her forthcoming beauty line, Lohan has also conquered the fashion market, designing a line for Lavish Alice as well as helming her own label, 6126 Collection, which started life as a leggings line before expanding into a full clothes and shoe brand.
She was also thrust into the world of high fashion in 2009 when she was appointed artistic adviser at Emanuel Ungaro. She worked alongside Estrella Archs and presented her debut collection at Paris Fashion Week, but critics didn’t take kindly to the clothes.
And in the last year, Lohan has also teased a possible swimwear and jewelry line.
