PIDZAMECKY, Olga (Marchewka)

April 1, 1926 - February 14, 2018

The family of the late Olga Pidzamecky extends its sincere thanks to all family and friends who visited, joined in funeral prayers, sent flowers and expressions of sympathy, or made donations in memory of our beloved mother, grandmother and great- grandmother who passed away in Toronto on February 14, 2018. Special thanks to Rev. Father Bohdan Choly and cantors of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church in St. Catharines from which Olga was buried, together with Rev. Fathers Michael Loza and Borys Hemon of St. Joseph’s UC Church (Oakville), for the funeral rites, Olga’s godson Mr. John Tepylo of Thorold and dear friend Dr. Stephen Duncan of Burlington for joining family members as pallbearers, the flagbearers of the Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League, caterer Mrs. Lesia Skomatczuk, Song of Ukraine and Postup radio programs for their touching tributes, Trident Printing, Bonnie Doliszny of Ukrainian Treasures, and staff of George Darte Funeral Home for their wonderful support. Olga was interred at Victoria Lawn alongside her late husband Wasyl on February 20, 2018. Family and friends are invited to a 40 day memorial Divine Liturgy for Olga at Sts. Cyril and Methodius on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. with luncheon to follow.
