NADEAU, Huguette

-

It is with such sorrow that Mich and Carol announce that Huguette Nadeau passed away in her 80th year on Wednesday, March 21st in the early hours at the Welland General Hospital. Huguette is now in the loving arms of Jesus and GOD. Reunited with her parents, MarieAnge and Ephrem Nadeau. Waiting to welcome Huguette is her precious niece Michelle Katrynuk along with her grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Left to mourn is Huguette’s love of her life and best friend of over 25 years, Wayne Doan, her sister Micheline Katrynuk (Richard) her sister Carol Demers (Raymond) and her nieces Ashley Demers (Jay), Debbie Katrynuk, Kelly Katrynuk (John) and her nephew Alan Demers (Catherine). It is through the graces of the caring support of Community Living Welland Pelham that Huguette was able to live an independent life for so many years and where she met her love, Wayne. Huguette’s antics sure made us laugh and kept us going. Without them we don’t know what we would have done. We thank her workers, Drew, Trish and Sandra along with several others for the love and devotion you have shown Huguette and your support to us during this difficult time. The family also would like to thank the staff of Rapelje Lodge - House 2 - for their ongoing care and support.

In keeping with Huguette’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving their relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL

HOME 827 East Main St., Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Huguette’s memory to Community Living Welland Pelham, 535 Sutherland Ave., Welland, ON L3B 5A4. For online condolences,
