ZUCCO, Agostino

Surrounded by family, Agostino went peacefully to join his parents and the rest of his siblings on May 29, 2018 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Margherita for over 60 years. Loving father of Franco (Kathy), Luciana Gearing (Doug), Gloria Gallagher (Dave), Joanne Fernick (Bob), Rosanna Siolkowsky (Mike) and Agostino. Nonno to 19 grandchildren- Krista (B.J.), Andy, Jennifer (Tim), Sarah, Lauren (Corey), Valerie, Emily (Mike), Maggie, Maria, Natalie, Nick, Danny, Lisa, Owen, Krista, Carson, Ryan, Amelia, and Helena. Great-grandfather to Weston and Kesler. Our papa was born in Fonzaso Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1954. With hard work and love he built a home to raise his family. He retired from his Concrete Contracting business at 60 to work his farm in Fonthill - his true passion. He enjoyed carrying on the tradition of his culture of making homemade wine and salami. Living his life courageously yet always honestly and with integrity, he instilled the values of hard work and resiliency in his children. Always respected and forever loved.

Family will receive visitors at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 2000 Merrittville Highway, Thorold on Friday June 1, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
