Mary Zybulak

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Zybulak announces the passing of our beloved “Ma” on May 25, 2018 at the age of 84. Mary passed away peacefully at Oakville-Trafalgar Hospital.

Loving mother of Helen Watkin (George), Olga Miller and predeceased by her son Bill Zybulak (2007) (Sharon). Loving sister of Nina Rodrigues, Helen Chaplinsky and Nic Malschuk. Loving grandmother of Ryan Johnson (Heather), Luka Miller and Paul Miller. Predeceased by her brothers-in-law Greg Rodrigues (2006) and Walter Chaplinsky (2011). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Born in Ukraine on October 24, 1933, Mary came to Canada in 1950 and called Niagara Falls home for 67 years, with pride. She recently moved to Oakville to be close to Helen and George. Mary was known for her generous heart and contagious smile. Being a dedicated, hard working woman she was appreciated by employers and co-workers alike. She ended her working career with NPC (Queen Victoria Restaurant) in 1998 with 16 years of service. In retirement, friends and neighbors could see her tending to her immaculate flower beds in her little, well kept Huron St. home. Mary was loved by everyone she met.

A heartfelt thank you for your kind and compassionate care of Ma goes out to, Dr. Lillian Narouz, Dr. Robert Lavers and the entire OTMH staff. Friends and acquaintances are enthusiastically encouraged to come celebrate her spectacular life Saturday, June 2, 2018 between 2 and 6 p.m. Hetherinton and Deans Funeral, 5176 Victoria Ave., Niagara Falls.
