FURRY, Jean Elizabeth (nee McIntyre)

Of Port Colborne passed away at Millennium Trail Manor in Niagara Falls on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the age of 91. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Howard Furry (1994), her sons, David Furry (1972) and Scott Furry (1986). Loving mother of Bev Winger of Ridgeway, Gordon Furry of London, England and Heather Furry (George) of Niagara Falls, dear grandmother of Shari Bertulli and Brent Lochhead (Brenda), great-grandmother of Hannah and Alexandra Bertulli, Chelsea, Mitchell (Desiree) and Connor Lochhead and great-greatgrandmother of Charlotte. Jean was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Port Colborne, and was one of the founding members of the Presbyterian Women. The family would like to thank the staff of Portal Village Retirement Home and the Millennium Trail Manor for all the care Jean received while residing there. Jean will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 29 Bald Street, Welland, on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Adam Bartha officiating. Private family interment will take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorial donations to the Wellspring Niagara would be greatly appreciated.
