CHARRON, Marcel Denis

-

July 30, 1947- July 5, 2018

It is with a heavy heart that the family of Marcel Denis Charron announces his passing at the Hospice Niagara Stabler Centre in St. Catharines on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the age of 70.

Marcel is leaving behind his wife and best friend of 52 years Madeleine Charron (nee Larocque) and his two wonderful children Robert Charron (spouse Jacqueline) and Chantalle Charron (spouse Mark). Marcel will be remembered by his very special and dear to his heart grandchildren, Isabelle, Julianne and Jack. Sadly missed by loving brother Ben Charron (Patricia) and sister Cecile Hilts, he will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Marcel was an example of true strength and character especially in his fight with Cancer these last four years. Marcel always had a smile on his face, a joke up his sleeve and will forever be remembered for his fun loving and humorous nature. He was an avid sports fan who also enjoyed cooking, baking, wine making and carpentry. Marcel loved the Sunrises, it was his favourite part of the day.

The family would like to thank the Hospice Niagara Stabler Centre in St. Catharines for the wonderful care and compassion every person showed to Marcel and the family during his three week stay.

As per Marcel’s request there will be no visitation or service. Marcel wishes instead for all to cherish the good times and the memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, Hospice Niagara the Stabler Centre or Mark Preece Family House would be appreciated by the family.
