GOULET, Teresa (Brooks)

-

On July 30, at the age of 86, surrounded by her family, Teresa passed away under the compassionate care of the staff at Rapelje Lodge in Welland. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 63 years, Louis. Teresa loved her family and was happiest when her girls Colleen, Jackie and Lou-Ann (John) brought their families home to enjoy time together. Grandma will be lovingly remembered for her mouth watering shortbread and thimble cookies by Ben, Rachel, Allison and Cailyn. Teresa was a dedicated caregiver to many of her family members. She was predeceased by her parents Mary Ann and Bill Brooks and siblings Ted, Beverly Perron and Dorothy Cloutier. Teresa’s niece Lynn Kuck (Terry) held a special place in her heart. Lynn always made Aunty Teresa smile during their weekly coffee and hair styling visits. Teresa will be greatly missed by her dear friends of many years, Betty and Gordon Whalen (Sudbury) and Karen and Nick Marischuk (Welland). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Parish Community of St. Kevin (303 Niagara Street, Welland) where Teresa and Lou have been parishioners for over thirty years. The family will have a private interment following the Mass. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Rapelje Lodge through
