Passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in his 84th year. A life well lived is a precious gift of hope, strength, and grace from someone who has made our world a brighter, better place. It’s filled with moments, sweet and sad, with smiles and sometimes tears, with friendships formed and good times shared, and laughter through the years. A life well lived is a legacy, of joy and pride and pleasure, a living, lasting memory, our grateful hearts will treasure. Ivan was a devoted family man. He had a grateful heart and made friends wherever he went. He brought such joy to the people around him. He is now with the true love of his life. Beloved husband of the late Odette for 59 years. Loving father of Jacqueline Kennedy, Caroline Landry (Paul), Laurie-Ann Iannetti (Domenico), Mary-Ellen Coutu (Rick), and Elizabeth Kennedy (Tom). Predeceased by his daughter Elaine Kennedy. Devoted grandfather of Karrie Lynn, Jonathan (Priscilla), Brandon (Lindsay), Jake, Gabriella, Larissa (Wayne), Christopher, Daniele, and Michela. Cherished greatgrandfather of Kalli, Cobain, Ethan, and Lily. Dear son of the late John and Elizabeth. Loving brother of the late Howard, Vincent, Rudy, and Corinne.
