Earth doesn’t need saving

-

People need to beware when a country’s well-being and overall economy is threatened by government over-reach. Regulations and taxation, with regard to climate change, is the textbook example.

The politically-motivated pseudo-science of anthropogenic global warming is more a religious ideology than science. Climatologists have debunked many of the prophesized theories and have shown that the scientific apparatus (the numbers) have been fudged to continue their financial viability and propaganda. These alterations have already resulted in disasters caused by political interference.

California’s wildfires due to improper green forest management, windpower nearly bankrupting Spain, and the collapse of Canada’s oil industry are woefully wrong applications of a false ideology that is unnecessarily ruining economies and the lives of everyone. For what, a feeble attempt to save a planet that doesn’t need saving?

Calling carbon dioxide “pollution” is probably the worst misnomer I’ve ever heard. It has been scientifically proven time and again that CO2 is not directly related to warming. Atmospheric CO2 has steadily increased over recent decades while mean temperatures have flatlined over the same period. No correlation.

Climate changes all the time. The main contributor is the Earth/sun relationship, with resultant atmospheric water vapour and ocean temperature variations. Not mankind’s miniscule addition of CO2. Actually, CO2 is plant food and its atmospheric increase could be very beneficial for global food production. But, environmentalists aren’t concerned with that. Only the destruction of the fossil fuel industry. Shame.
