Ten races are scheduled to take place in the DIRTcar-sanctioned division this year with a minimum of $2,000 to win and $250 to take the green.

“Wayne (Conn) is a major supporter of Modified racing in the Niagara region and a longtime engine customer of CSR,” said Terry Vince, owner and promoter of the Port Colborne track.

Key events for the S&W Modified division in 2022 include the Canada Day Weekend $2,500-to-win special on Thursday, June 30; $3,500-to-win All-Canadian Championships on Sunday, July 31; and the Pete Cosco Memorial on Sunday, Aug. 21, paying $3,017 to win.

The Fall Classic Weekend — on Friday, Sept. 30; Saturday, Oct. 1 — will pay $3,000 to win each night.

The 2022 Modified champion will be crowned during Fall Classic Weekend, which will also be seen in front of an international audience live on GForce TV.

This year, the weekly purse will see the winner take home $2,000, $1,300 for second, $850 for third, $750 for fourth and $600 for fifth place.

Payout for the 10th-place finisher will be $350, and it is $250 to take the green flag. The full purse breakdown can be seen on humberstonespeedway.ca and on the speedway’s Facebook page.
