4:00 PM | A 31-year-old Elora man faces drug charges following a traffic stop by Wellington County OPP. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant. Upon arresting him, police located an assortment of weapons and illicit drugs. He was charged with ‘possession of methamphetamine’ and ‘possession of oxycontin’ contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act . He was also charged with ‘possession of a prohibited weapons’ contrary to the Criminal Code. He was held for bail court hearing.
