Woolwich backs options for WNH

To nobody’s surprise, Waterloo North Hydro is pushing ahead with options for mergers and acquisitions following a sparsely attended public consultation phase.

The limited feedback indicated customers are largely concerned about any impact on rates, which have been climbing dramatically for more than a decade.

Meeting last week, Woolwich council endorsed the direction. The utility is jointly owned by Woolwich, Wellesley and Waterloo.
