Body found in Beacon Hill Park

Victoria police are investigating the discovery of a body in Beacon Hill Park early Monday.

The body was found around 5:30 a.m. in the park, police said.

The death did not appear to be suspicious.

The B.C. Coroner’s Office was on scene and is investigating.

Police did not reveal any information about the person who died or the circumstances of the death.
