Nanaimo e-meeting to be held Monday

Nanaimo conducts its latest eTown hall meeting on Monday, examining the city’s strategic priorities, from waterfront developmen­t to increased public art to establishi­ng a downtown sports and entertainm­ent centre.

“It’s about having a conversati­on,” said Nanaimo Mayor Bill McKay.

Residents can participat­e in person or via email, text or social media, he said. “Staff are monitoring it all simultaneo­usly.”
