Peace Freaks store near Thetis Lake

-

Christina Levagood has opened the Peace Freaks fair trade clothing store in Lakeside Village in View Royal.

According to Levagood, Peace Freaks’ inventory is made up of fair trade or locally made products.

“We are very focused on the fair trade aspect as I feel it’s very important that the people that make our clothes are paid a fair wage. Most items are handmade by artisans in Nepal and Thailand,” said Levagood, adding the store is fun, eclectic and “wanting to help make the world a bit better.”

Near Thetis Lake, the Lakeside Village complex, which bills itself as eco-friendly and focused on local products and services, is anchored by Urban Ground Market.
