Significant changes for 2016 will see strings taking a more prominent spot

-

Larsen Music is proud to have been Victoria’s premier independent local music store for a wonderful 18 years. The owners and staff are grateful to their customers, music teachers and students for their support in Victoria and all over Vancouver Island.

Larsen Music is your local choice for band and string rentals, repairs and sales. Their rental instrument fleet is always growing and improving to make your educational experience the best it can be. Learning to play on a well setup instrument is easier and more rewarding, and this is a priority at Larsen.

2016 will see some big changes at Larsen Music to meet the increased demand for orchestral and folk string sales, rentals and repairs. Through the autumn months the violins, violas, cellos and basses will take a more prominent spot by moving upstairs to the main showroom. This adjustment makes it possible to build a bigger workshop to better serve the string community.

The Larsen School of Music is closing its doors as of August 31.This difficult decision will not impact the retail store at 1833 Cook Street. The management gratefully thanks the faculty for all their hard work and efforts and will continue to promote and support them as they move on to new facilities.

Everyone at Larsen Music is excited as another busy back-toschool season nears. There is a great thrill in helping families take their first steps in music education.

August is beat-the-rush month – rent your band or string instruments early and receive a month for free!
