People with rich pensions make the rules

In the contest of who gets the biggest share of the public purse, Michael Wolfson as advocate for retired public servants strongly condemns the findings of the C.D. Howe Institute. With his experience at Statistics Canada, you would assume he is well aware benefits have been overpaid for decades, due to shortfalls in funding formulas that in no way match contribution to benefits.
Add the cost of early retirements, spousal benefits and gold-plated medical and dental plans and we have an enormous weight to carry.
Ordinary working drudges are being asked to retire later and expect less.
