Learn Viennese Waltz, dance for your dessert

Meet new friends, dance and indulge your sweet tooth at Dance of Desserts, a social party hosted by students and teachers of VGDance, Saturday at the Les Passmore Senior Center.

People are encouraged to bring along their favourite sweet treats for an evening of desserts, tea, coffee, drinks, social dancing and popular dance music.

Guest instructor Ekaterina is coming from Vancouver to hold a dance workshop on American Style Viennese Waltz between 6:45 and 7:30 p.m.

The potluck and socializing runs between 7:30 and 8 p.m., with dancing between 8 and 10:45 p.m.

Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door. Only 60 tickets are available.

The event starts at 6:45 p.m. Saturday at the Les Passmore Senior Center, 286 Hampton Rd.
