Dip into dragon boating

Experience the fun, competitiveness and health benefits of paddling at the Dragon Boat Paddlers’ Clinic, an entry-level session for men and women age 55-plus, this weekend on the Gorge.

Train on the Gorge waterway, one of the most spectacular paddling locations in Canada, with the Fairway Gorge Paddling Club.

The clinic includes an hour each in the classroom and a dragon boat. Sessions will include explanations of Dragon Boat Festivals and how they run, paddlers’ strokes and techniques, boat safety, commands, etiquette and training.

Personal flotation devices and paddles will be supplied. Wear comfortable clothes and running shoes.
