Oak Bay Volunteer Services: Volunteers are needed to support drives, visits, and walks. Spend your time assisting individual­s of all ages, mostly seniors. Thrifty Foods Sendial: Is seeking phoning volunteers at our Fairfield, James Bay and Hillside locations. Sendial helps people live independen­tly. Phoners call customers weekly and complete a grocery order form. Good hearing, clear speaking and printing, attention to detail, and grocery product knowledge is required. Habitat Acquisitio­n Trust: Is looking for a restoratio­n team leader to co-ordinate and connect people with habitat restoratio­n events.
