Autism group offers support for adults

-

Re: “Does anyone care about older adults with autism?” comment, April 20. I am an older adult (49 years old), who was diagnosed on the autism spectrum in my 30s. I am the organizer of a social and peersupport group for autistic adults in the capital region.

The writer, and anyone else who is on the autism spectrum (age 18 and up), is welcome. We can’t offer any professional services, but we can provide peer support and help autistic people, who are often isolated, to feel less alone.

Our website is meetup.com/aspergers-209, and we meet twice a month. Iris Gray Esquimalt
