Golden weekend for Falcon gymnasts

Falcon Gymnastics members ventured to Duncan last weekend for the annual ORCA Invitational meet and brought home plenty of gold.

Nineteen Falcon Gymnastics athletes made the trek north and they combined for 45 medals, including nine overall gold medals.

Leading the way at the Junior Olympic 4 2006 level was Gabrielle Tsui whose all-around score of 37.225 earned her the all-around silver medal. Tsui won gold on bars and beam, bronze on vault and fourth on the floor.

In the Junior Olympic 2004-05 level, Ella Kendler won overall gold thanks a gold on bars, silver on vault and bronze on the beam. Clubmate Chantell Turlock finished second overall thanks to a gold on floor and silver on the beam.

At the Junior Olympic 4 2007-09 level, Georgia Widdowson won the all-around silver medal after finishing with silver on vault and beam and bronze on the floor.

At Junior Olympic 3 2007, Ava Webster won all-around silver thanks to gold on the beam, silver on vault and bronze on floor.

In the Junior Olympic 3 2008 division, Maile Chow won the allaround gold after winning gold on vault, silver on floor and bronze on beam. And in the Junior Olympic 3 2009-10 event, Madison Nguyen won overall gold thanks to gold medals on beam and floor and a silver on bars.
