Stop whining about B.C. Liberals

-

Re: “Liberals accused of delays, ‘mischief’,” June 15. The whining about B.C. Liberals from amigos John Horgan and Andrew Weaver has become tedious. I agree with Wednesday’s editorial: “Horgan should name cabinet,” and start proving he’s ready.

And speaking of mischief, he might also start producing the “tools” he claims to have in his “toolbox” for impeding the Trans Mountain oil-pipeline expansion. Does he also have “tools” in his box to cope with whatever retaliation Alberta might take for not allowing its oil to get to markets? Does he have any clues about goods shipped out of B.C. heading East that can be subject to tariffs?

June 22 could be the start of fun times, but it’s arrogant for the Green/NDP combo to think that Premier Christy Clark should leave one of her people as Speaker in the legislature. Surely a Green deserves a chance at that job if Horgan’s heroes can’t cope. Jim Corder Nanaimo
