Highlanders seek second win over TSS

The Victoria Highlanders go into the back end of their two-game Premier Development League soccer road set against TSS Rovers in Burnaby today, riding the high on Friday night’s dramatic 1-0 victory.

Former J-League professional Sho Goto scored at 88 minutes with a volley from a cross by Stuart Heath as Victoria snapped a four-game losing streak to move to 2-4 in the tables.

Highlanders goalkeeper Simon Norgrove recorded the clean sheet.

First-year PDL club TSS is 1-5-3 heading into today’s rematch.

The game will decide the Juan de Fuca Plate internal competition between the lone B.C. teams in the PDL Northwest Division.
