ABOUT THE ELECTION
Who can vote
• You can vote in the byelection if you are a resident of Saanich or own property within the municipality
• You must be 18 or older and a Canadian citizen who has lived in B.C. for at least six months What you need
• If you are already registered to vote, there is no ID requirement
• If you are not already registered to vote, you must bring at least two pieces of ID that provide your identity and place of residence. One must bear your signature. If you don’t have ID with your address on it, you will need to make a solemn declaration.
• Acceptable ID includes B.C. driver’s licence, identification or services card; birth certificate; passport; certificate of Indian status from the federal government; EI statement; utility bill; student card from the University of Victoria, Camosun College or Royal Roads University.

• Gordon Head Recreation Centre, 4100 Lambrick Park Way • G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre, 3100 Tillicum Rd. • Saanich Commonwealth Place, 4636 Elk Lake Rd.
