UVic tours head to Vienna, New Mexico, Chile in 2018

-

Do you love to travel but don’t like the hassle of organizing your own flights, hotels, land travel and tours? If so, the Travel Study Program offered through the Division of Continuing Studies at the University of Victoria might be what you’ve been looking for.

Each small-group tour is led by an expert in the field. Prior to departure, there are several classroom sessions, where travellers learn about the focus of the tour, meet their travel companions and get answers to practical questions. Trips include all travel arrangements and tips for the guides and drivers.

The 2018 tours on offer include: Chile and Argentina with Christine Forster (May 7-23); Vienna: City and Culture with Kat Sark (May 16- 31); New York, New York with Robert Holliston (June 412); Opera in Santa Fe, New Mexico with Robert Holliston (Aug. 4-12); and Art History of the Southwest: Georgia O’Keeffe in New Mexico with Kerry Mason (Sept. 26 to Oct. 6).

Leaders will give a presentation on the 2018 tours on Sunday, Oct. 15 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Admission is free, but participants must pre-register, as seating is limited.
