Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? – all available to give as gifts. These are all practical and appreciate­d by the receiver.

Membership from January to the end of March 2018 is $21 (gst included). For folks that are new, this gives them a good opportunit­y to try Silver Threads out and experience some different programs.

Benefits of membership include full access to Silver Threads Service programs offered at both the Saanich and Victoria centres, reduced fees for centre activities and events – a savings of $2 to $3 per session. Members also receive priority registrati­on for space limited programs, outings and other seasonal special events, courtesy calls for program changes or cancellati­ons. With membership, you receive a compliment­ary coffee and treat card. By joining Silver Threads, the special senior in your life receives a place to connect and a sense of community belonging.

Silver Threads also provides program punch cards – these are an easy and fast way to pay for drop-in programs. The cards come in increments of 5 and 10 visits. You can also purchase Guess Who’s Coming for

Dinner certificat­es for $12. Cerificate­s can be purchased by phone at: 250-382-3151, or in person at the Saanich Centre located at 286 Hampton Road.

ANNUAL POLICE CHORUS CONCERT

Enjoy Hawaiian music and dance with Hula Dance for Health followed by The Greater Victoria Police Chorus as they sing a selection of Christmas songs. Seasonal sweets and refreshmen­ts to follow. Wednesday, Dec. 6, Saanich Centre 1 to 3 p.m. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. $5.25 members; $8.40 non-members.
