Sante Spa has been in business for 11 years. They offer an impressive line of spa services like massage therapy, facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing and body treatments.

The group that make up the members of the spa team are like a spa family.

Jen Spencer, Sante Spa’s director, talks about her business: “The spa is home to me, and the team is my work family. I’ve been here for seven years and have watched it grow and change. We are very proud of how far the spa has come. It is truly one of the best spas on the Island.”

“Our guests are the reason we do what we do. Being a part of their celebrations and challenging times is so rewarding. They come to us for a get-away from life, and to relax in our beautiful serene surroundings. Watching them leave happier and more peaceful than when they arrived is what it is all about. Everyone needs more of that feeling in their lives.”

Jen’s favourite thing about the business that benefits her customers is the healing they get from the treatments and being in a nature environment.

Sante Spa differentiates their business from thir competition. “There are a few things we have become known for. Our

Spa team is very special. They pride ourselves in creating a warm, welcoming environment with each other and for our guests. Our guests really feel that when they come in and often comment how warm and friendly the team is.”

“Our facility is top-notch, with over 12,000 square feet that includes a relaxation space in our Forest Lounge, outdoor terrace and beautiful views of the mountains. We also have lovely hydrotherapy amenities with our outdoor mineral pool, steam rooms and saunas, so you really get the full spa experience here.”

“We have our annual Spa Jingle

Mingle Event on Tuesday Dec. 5. We will have over 100 guests attending – to enjoy Christmas shopping and be treated to mini-treatments and wellness speakers. This fun event sells out every year and we are using ticket proceeds to sponsor a breakfast at Our Place Society this month, where our staff will get to serve breakfast to those less fortunate.”

Jen is from Calgary originally, and so the Island life never gets old for her. If it’s nice out, she loves to walk her little terrier at Dallas Road, Elk or Thetis Lake. Jen also plays women’s fastball in the spring and summer, which is so much fun.
