Unsworth Vineyards continues to innovate with their latest offering – TimBuckTwo Sparkling. Unsworth Vineyards, located in the picturesque Cowichan Valley, is home to Vancouver Island’s only pressurized fermentation tank and counter pressure bottling line. Unsworth, in conjunction with other Cowichan wineries, has been creating a Charmat method sparkling known as Charme de L’ile, made exclusively from Vancouver Island grown grapes. To compliment production of Unsworth Charme de L’ile, due to the limited availability of Island grapes and its huge popularity, Unsworth has added TimBuckTwo
Sparkling using the same method, but with carefully sourced Okanagan grapes. TimBuckTwo Sparkling has notes of sweet lemons and nectarine with fresh peach and honeysuckle. This soft bubbly finishes clean and fresh and is perfect for the upcoming holiday season. TimBuckTwo Sparkling is available in many private liquor stores or a short 40-minute drive from Victoria at Unsworth’s beautiful tasting room. The tasting room is also ready to make Christmas shopping easy with gift baskets available starting at $50. Enjoy a glass of wine while you shop. Unsworth’s award-winning restaurant has also been busy innovating with a seasonal, locally sourced menu and CSR (community supported restaurant) program. This program started three years ago as an opportunity to ensure business in the slower winter season, to get to know their guests and just provide a really great deal. Unsworth restaurant’s third season offers members the chance to enjoy five three-course dinners or 10 twocourse lunches, or a combination of both for $200 on selected days until April 2018. A CSR membership is the perfect gift for the food lover in your life as you are not just giving a gift certificate for a single experience, but the opportunity to dine out many times over the winter season.
